Externally Gauged Load Pin 📰
14th Dec 2018At LCM Systems we use down hole strain gauging techniques when manufacturing load pins. Our many years of experience has shown that it makes for a very reliable load pin, as the strain gauges are protected and fully sealed from the elements. However, occasionally a customer wants something different, and we are always happy to try to meet our customers specific requirements whenever we can. This pin is an example of an externally gauged load pin, where the strain gauges are installed in machined out pockets on the side of the load pin rather than down a central bore.
