5te ATEX Compression Load Cells Despatched 📰
2nd Nov 2016Leaving the factory today are two small compression load cells, rated to 5 tonnes. These are for a Norwegian customer for use as part of overload controls on personnel lifts on offshore oil & gas platforms. Because of the operational environment, the load cells have to be suitable for use in harsh operating conditions and ATEX/IECEx approved – in this case Ex d for Zone 1 hazardous areas. The load cells are supplied complete with load cap, 10m of cable and Zone 1 approved enclosures to house a 4-20mA amplifier.
