400te Telemetry Load Shackle For Offshore Application Ready For Despatch 📰
25th Nov 2016Packed and ready for collection on Monday is a 400te telemetry load shackle, which has been ordered by a major oil & gas contractor. The traceability requirements were extensive, with non-destructive testing and proof load testing of the load shackle body and pin carried out at GN Rope premises and witnessed by ABS, as well as material traceability to 3.2 (EN10204). The calibration was also witnessed at our factory on the Isle of Wight. The load shackle was supplied with a specially designed bobbin which increased the diameter of the load pin to ensure it fit perfectly within the weighing assembly. From order receipt to despatch was just 6 weeks, which included all the testing.
