400te Load Shackles for FSO Mooring Line Monitoring 📰
11th Apr 2025We have recently shipped two 400te load shackles to a UK based customer that specialises in offshore oil and gas mooring systems. They will be installed the primary and secondary hawser lines that attach an FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading vessel) to the the mooring buoy. The customer required full 3.2 material traceability and witnessing of the calibration by ABS. The load shackles incorporate an integral amplifier to provide 4-20mA output for simple integration of line tension data into a PLC system.
