2000te Tension & Compression Load Cells 📰
23rd Oct 2020Awaiting collection are these two 2000 tonne stainless steel tension and compression load cells that have been ordered by a customer in China. These impressive load cells have a diameter of 400mm, are 1000mm long with 14" stub ACME threads both ends and weigh 767kgs each. They have been designed with three separate strain gauge bridges and have been calibrated in both tension and compression, witnessed by Lloyds. The accuracy achieved was 0.08%. They will be used as reference load cells in a new horizontal calibration test machine that is currently under construction.
