1000te Telemetry Load Shackle for Offshore Pipelaying Vessel 📰
3rd Aug 2018We have recently despatched a 1000te telemetry load shackle, which is now on its way to a major world leading oil & gas service provider, where it will be utilised on one of their offshore pipelaying vessels. This particular pipelaying vessel is operating in the Zohr gas field; an offshore natural gas field located in the Egyptian sector of the Mediterranean Sea. The load load shackle (a GN Rope H14 wide body) has been supplied with 3.2 material certification including ultrasonic testing to ASTM A388 and magnetic particle testing to ASTM E709. All testing, as well as proof loading and final calibration, was witnessed by ABS.
